By the way, the is my first online tutorial series.:) Presently, I like to use OpenCart as an online store or an e-Commerce solution. Now, let’s start our first OpenCart tutorial, i.e, a brief introduction about the OpenCart.

OpenCart is an online store management system i.e, it is an e-Commerce management system. OpenCart is
specially developed for e-Commerce solution. It is a PHP based open-source PHP framework to create an online
store or an e-Commerce. It handes the MySQL database and HTML components. Everyone can get support in
different languages and currencies. OpenCart is one of the best platforms to start your online store. OpenCart is an
open-source project under the GNU General Public License, therefore, it is free to use. By May 2016, there are over
3,42,000 websites were using OpenCart for e-Commerce solution.

Don’t confuse while using the term e-Commerce. Basically the term, e-Commerce is used for an

online store. Like, Amazon.com, flipkart.com, eBay.com, etc.
