HTTPS is also a protocol, which stands for HyperText Transfer Protocol Secure. The HTTPS is used for the encryption for the HTTP data information, connection by the transport layer security.

* HTTPS works in the transport layer of the OSI model

* HTTPS uses SSL certificate

* There is encryption and decryption in HTTPS protocol
